Question
« on: May 27, 2011, 05:24:16 PM »

Hi guys one for the soft goods experts out there! I currently use Kahuna Ricky Ponting batting pads but the online stockist version which I've heard or more like a small mens pads. These pads are on the way out and I want some Mongoose Super Premium but the nearest store to me Owzat dont stock them so I cant try them on. I'm wondering whether to risk buying small mens pads as the fit on my Kooks are the best fit Ive had on a pad and wondering if the UK small mens pads would be the same sort of fit? I need these fairly urgent so dont have time to be sending them back if the fit is not correct what would you suggest? Thanks

Depends on the size of the small mens I use small mens mate I'm 5ft 7 and there just right I think the gn legends in uk small mens were 40cm from top of arch to middle of knee roll

Hope this helps

Yeah I was wondering if there is a guide for sizes on them in terms of pad length etc, as I am around 6ft but I hear the indian pads are more like small mens and just wondered if that was the reason the pads fit so well despite me being fairly tall, not sure what to do.

There a size guide on the owzat website mate measure your pads and see but remember the sizeing is all slightly different from pad to pad but if you rang up say romida or owzat I'm sure they would give you the exact measurments  of the pads you want mate

Thanks Dave, I would try them on but Owzat dont stock the super premium unfortunately! If anyones had Mongoose pads or if Toms online could you say what the sizing is like, as if mens will be ok can get a mate to pick me them up from allrounder in Leeds before tommorows game!

You had those online stockist pads off me. I had another pair and the only mens size english pads I have found that have the same fit are kookaburras. I tried on this years mongoose in Mens and they felt a little big. I would try small mens
