Rain
« on: June 16, 2011, 07:18:11 PM »

We were playing cricket today and after only 3.2 overs the heavens decided to open.
The umpire kept us on saying that 5 overs constitutes a match...
We won but after a while I looked at my bat and it looked a bit weird in places.

Is there anything I can do to undo this? Or is it permanent?

let the bat dry, give it a light sand and an oil and it will be fine

whoops, forgot to add that was yesterday straight after the rain.
it's fine now - just needs a bit of thorough sanding in places.
