Just heard Vaughan talking about this on TMS - Genius!
Anyone know the club?

The first cricket box was used in 1874. The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

Yeah he has a unique set up and stroke would be fun to get other cricketers to do it

Thought I recognised the area. Played at a fair number of grounds with similar characteristics up that A1 area north of leeds/harrogate, as it gets very flat and loads of corn fields. Kirklington CC is another very similar ground.

out for 28 though.....as the bowler who got it out you would be giving him some banter when he revealed himself (not in that way!)

I've played against that team this year! Decent unit now, probably going to get promoted.

I've played a lot of cricket with the lad who got Vaughan out, he is a far too good to be playing for Dishforth 2s!

Don't show Duncan Fletcher, else he'll be getting Ashley Giles made up to play for India!

Nice to see a local club to me! They have a decent evening first team. What a scalp to get out Vaughan!
