SS Ton Cricket bats
« on: March 08, 2013, 09:10:11 PM »

Hi, I am looking to buy an SS Ton cricket bat and wondering which one any of you would consider for me to get. I am looking for a weight around 2.8 and want a good ping off the bat. I would like it to be slightly bottom heavy as i enjoy driving the ball. Any other bats that match this description will be considered for when I am ready to purchase a bat.
Thankyou

I may have one possibly 2 for sale dependant on price.

One is a custom shaped bat the other has had a re handle and is a un stickered Ss platinum reserve going cheaper and is in great nick

But for the kulusakara it would have to be a very good offer mate

Ryan the batmaker has tapped this up he was impressed with it

That SS kulusakara looks a great bat, I may have a look at some others of that type. Looks just like the type of bat i'm looking for!

£170?

It is probably better to discuss the pricing in a PM with Procricket. 8)

No worries, we were all CBF newbies once. Looks like you have a good eye for a bat though!

I have used SS bats. If you want a mid range low middle bat go for the SS Ton ranger, but the weight is an issue as these are mostly available 2.9 and upwards, as far as I know. But if your budget is little more  go for the SS Ton Matrix, the bats are really good and low middle. And if the budget is premium than dont think of anything go and buy a custom made one from a skilled pod shaver, no one can beat custom and handmade bats . :)

I have a Matrix. Decent bat. Ball goes out the middle pretty well. Only thing I dont like it is the finishing on the back of the bat. Has gone a bit bumpy. Not sure if I left it outside perhaps or it got some moisture in it.

But the bat itself is good. My dad will be using mine this season.
