I got a bat with 2 lbs 8oz (& change) about 6 months ago...I checked the weight again yesterday and it was down to 2lbs 6-3/4 oz. I would say it has dried at least 2 oz.
It might me mental but I felt the performance is declining since I got it, hence I checked the weight in the first place.
I had put a very light coat of oil immediately after I got it to lock in the moisture.

Is there anything that I should do? Or its just a bat's life cycle?
