Picture to Embroidery
« on: November 23, 2011, 10:50:39 AM »

Hi guy's I'm after getting my club badge embroided onto some stuff for next year however the person that had the jpeg files has left the club, if I take a picture of the badge on my shirt would someone be able to make it decent enough quality image so that I could send it off to the company? I'd really appreciate it!

123, I work for an embroidery company.

You would need to scan the logo in to get a good enough quality.

I can do this for you no problem.

Hi Gareth I am unsure what you mean? I'm getting old you see, if I take a picture of the badge on the shirt would this be good enough quality for you to transfer it onto a garment or would someone have to make a copy of the picture in higher quality on photoshop or something similar?

If you've had any stuff made up before why not contact the company to see if they have the file saved in their records?

Hi 123, a picture just isn't good enough quality to convert to an embroidery. It wouldn't look good enough...You would need to scan it in and send it across.  Then it can be converted to a DST (Embroidery file).

I hope this makes sense?  If not drop me an email.
