Non-crickets helmets
« on: October 16, 2011, 09:26:04 AM »

Are there any ideas to use all the technical R&D and business acumen to branch out into other helmet applications of the Ayrtek model?

I'm particulalry loooking at cycling here - shopping for a new helmet and the designs are horrific. The industry could do with a shake up IMO!

Cycling is a hard one. There were other threads about this, and with cycling, red the weight, performance and airflow issues are quite hard...

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.
