Cost of a GM Refurb
« on: September 28, 2011, 04:56:38 PM »

With the end of season arriving, I'm thinking of sending my Flare LE off for a light refurb and relabel.

I rang Unicorn, they said send it in and they will quote me accordingly.

Just wondered if anyone has had something similar completed recently and how much they were charged?

Any info would be a great help

Cheers

Just to back shaqharris point up, last time I emailed the it was £40 including: repairs; refurb; new stickers and return postage. I'm not sure if this includes the price of a new scuff sheet, grip(s) and toe guard. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys.

I've just spoken to a mate and he's sent one off just to be re-labelled and they quoted him £25 excluding postage just to apply labels and no refurb. Sounds a bit steep comparing it to a full refurb.

To be fair if it included postage would be a good deal 25 pound for some real stickers ain't bad at all

The price reflects the fact it is virtually impossible to get genuine GM stickers any other way. When you consider most well known brand stickers fetch around £25 anyway, it isn't that bad.

That said, if you want GM stickers applied to a GM bat, you may as well pay a bit more and get the refurb done too.

I have just had a quote through via email for a full refurb for a GM Hero Original and a slight weight reduction which was £42 inc return postage. Don't know if they will still have the Hero stickers so will have to see what they put on it!
