In response to the initial question, I'm Sri Lankan and don't get it haha.

I know Kumar keeps and has kept in ODIs for ages, but they use another keeper in tests as he wants to focus on his batting and perhaps doesn't fancy the strain of keeping and batting.

Why Kumar doesn't just bat in ODIs I will never know, but he's still class behind the stumps
