Hello fellow forumites.
Just got back from another quality visit to the Pack Cave. A few lads at my club asked me to run them down for a pair of kit deals and I Just couldn't resist
We travelled down after a trouncing at football (6-2), believe it or not we had 75% of the ball but that doesn't matter, we got down there to see the man himself and Simon the masters young padewan apprentice and I'm very happy to say that things are coming on just great, the new label designs look top notch and are an improvement on the previous set, stock levels of major brands are good in the shop and by the looks of all the willow knocking around production seems to be in full swing. A new profile for 2012 would certainly do that though
after sorting the lads out with some blades Rob tidied my match bat up and applied the RPC labels, I'll have pics up tomorrow because those are some lush stickers!! Will also knock up a few of the other 2 bats when they arrive here in the coming days. I also picked up a few bits and bobs and to my shock a pair of Puma iridium spikes. Usually i'm an Asics man and have been for as long as i can remember but when i tried the pumas on i didnt want to take them off, will be reviewing those bad boys soon as im so impressed with the fit, feel and design. Electric Blue and Silver as well so a little something for the ladies to swoon over
After the stroking of Wood had ended we went to a curry house (eastern spice) which was probably one of, if not THE best I've visited in a long time. You even got fererro rocher (spelling??) after and a double measure of Baileys, regrettably i am soft and T Total until i break like sugar glass but Simon managed to smash all 5 down in a matter of seconds. It really rounded off a fantastic day/night. I know I bark on about it all the time but it's worth every mile/minute/penny if you can and want to visit the Workshop for some gear. Another awesome trip and the two lads who arent on here and dont share the same passion for equipment and willow like we do really got a big buzz from it all and loved the whole experience.
I'll get pics up of my bat, boots and the other bats when they arrive as well as the newest labels and maybe some of the new 'soon to be available' 2012 addition to the Blue Room family.
