Hi,

Am currently looking at getting a coupe of spokeshaves, one round and one flat. Is there a specific type or make that I should try to get hold of?

Thanks for your help.

Have noticed with stanley/record spokeshaves that they come in differerent numbers ie 63. Is there a specific number that I should be looking for?

63 is round, and 51 is flat. That's all you really need.

TBH I use a £5 silverline spokeshave off Amazon and it does the job fine
