I'd probably not be seen wearing one myself but if I had to say, Aero seems to be popular among the sissi... erm... gents.

Just a note from a fast bowler, when I see you wearing a chest guard, I'm particularly inclined to bowl short.

Almost all the Sri Lankan batsmen have been wearing them in the ODI series.
