Morrant Unlimited pads
« on: February 19, 2012, 09:41:41 PM »

Hey Lads,

Bought myself a pair of Morrant Unlimited pads today. Not a pair of pads I was looking at buying but after seeing them in the flesh I was quite surprised and at £40 I didnt think they were a bad price either. Just wondered if anyone knows who manufactures them as they look an awful lot like The SS gladiator pads.

Looks Like SS manufactures for them as most of their softs are direct copies of SS gear

A similar pad is the G&M Original RBS Mate! Which is excellent quality and does the business with being very light.

P.S. Give It's Just Cricket a shout out for them.

There not like RBS, and hes (No Swearing Please) anyway! ;-) your thinking of the international morrants, different fish....

Yes they are very much like the SS Gladiator, I've nerve seen either, but just looking at the pictures, my guess is that the Morrants are the same design with not quite as good materials used. Still look good though.

Does anyone else remember how Dukes and Morrant use to sell the same stuff in the same catalogue, but like the Dukes stuff was about 20-30 quid more - always made me laugh, they were the days!
