Piripiri cricket/ pineapple sports
« on: March 13, 2012, 06:58:40 PM »

Hello Guys,

Today I popped down to see Ben at piripiri cricket, he was very welcoming and a lovely gentleman.
I was looking for softs and wasn't disappointed by the range available to try on and bats to have a play with where available, picked up a lovely one which weighed 2-9 and had 12 perfect grains with a smudge heartwood on the outside edge.
Having tried the softs on, I decided I would try an Ayrtek, found it unbelievably comfortable, and will be investing I suspect, more than likely a steel.
Having done all this, just sat and discussed cricket which was brilliant, discussed the little Charlie Allison boy that he has signed, discussed Essex and MCC cricket.
Overall an excellent afternoon, and will be visiting again once more right hand stock has been delivered, and when the bank account will allow. Would definitely recommend contacting Ben, nothing seems to bigger problem.

Cheers guys

Piripiri give a prize of a top of the range bat in the Snel for the first 'English' batsmen in 1st XI cricket to reach 500 hundred. Generous prize indeed!
