Cheeky offer
« on: May 18, 2014, 09:16:16 PM »

Not sure where to put this so I thought this is a good a place as any.

I have seen an item I want but the price could be more pleasing. The seller has the item in his physical shop and has advertised both on the companies website and a popular auction site for the same price of 350 pounds. I would like to make an offer for the item but I've got no idea how much selling an item via the auction site would cost the seller taking into consideration the fees and internet banking charges. What would be a non too cheeky offer?

Take 10% off, it will almost certainly be accepted.

You can try your luck by offering 15 - 20 % less.
