I don't think anyone is opposing immigration here.. I have Bangladeshi parents and my father came to England in the 1950s and I was born and educated there. If I had the chance to play for England that would be great.. just not for the Czech Republic...

The point about the melting pot is interesting as there are many more cultures and backgrounds in the UK with their children being born there. Perhaps the current status quo is the fairest way to give anyone a chance to play at the highest levels they can as long as the selection committee is made up of those backgrounds too but that won't happen for a while yet...
