After the sale of 2 of my bats, funds were finally available for a new stick. And so the search began. Various pm's were sent to the numerous forum sponsors, all of whom were very prompt in their replies, and there were some fantastic deals offered.
Advice from senior forum members and my desire to try out a top end uk bat maker, I finally decided to go for a purple blank bat.
Monies were exchanged, and I received the bat the next day.
weight 2lb 8oz------very very nice pick up. I think I could have even gone an ounce heavier
edges 30mm
mallet response-- very good
ball tapping up--good, needs knocking in as this leaves seam marks
Once I have knocked the bat in and used in a few matches, I will do an update on how the bat is performing. For now though I am pleased with how smoothly the whole transaction went. Canners' customer service was top notch. He was quick to reply to my mails and I felt comfortable dealing with him. My numerous questions were answered promptly and with patience. And now pics......
