What bat do you reckon is the best, Mongoose TORQ Super Premium or Hell4Leather Excel Limited Edition, is it true that basically anywhere on the Mongoose TORQ is effectivley the middle and can anyone recomend the Mongoose, I am faced with a dilema as now ItsJustCricket are offering 30% off the TORQ and will only cost about £190 whereas the H4L will cost around £275, what would you go for. Thanks.

Mate, with the utmost respect you would be far better off going to a shop, picking up some bats and buying the one you like. This is about the 4th thread you've written asking peoples opinions on what bat you should buy but the only opinion that matters is your own...

Definately agree with this. Different Bats suit different people, so your best bet is going to have a feel of some bats and picking your personal favourite.

If you also read peoples reviews on bats that will give you an insight to what bats you would like.
Personally if your close to H4L, get there and talk to Matt and I'm sure he will sort you out with a bat that suites your game

But as pedals says, once you start asking about the same thing over and over in the end people won't bother replying to your topics mate, just have a read through of reviews people have done and go from there

I know, thanks guys, I dont want to annoy people on here but also want to make sure that I get the the best bat for me and just wanted as many reviews and opinions as I could, I looked for the H4L Excel reviews and not many of them and no Limited Editon ones also I could not find any Mongoose TORQ reviews on the forum. Thanks.

If you can't see any reviews about them, don't buy one and go for a H4L haha!
You don't need to look specifically for reviews of excel's just go for reviews of H4L, and  you'll see there isn't a bad review, even of the 5* bats.

The three H4L's I've owned since Christmas have all been top draw, although non of them directly through Matt, I dare say I'll be chasing him for a Hattori at the end of the season, as the LE one I acquired is a gun

The best bat for you would be the one Matt makes for you.

The problem is you are being swayed by the 30% discount. If they were both priced at £275 you probably wouldn't consider the mongoose.

I echo everyone's sentiments here - you really need to see the bats for yourself and pick them up.  Every batsman is different so it's hard to gauge whether or not their recommendations are relevant for you.  We did, however, shoot a review for the Mongoose bat if it helps:

Fundamentally, the Torg can't be all middle as it is the blade of the bat, therefore toed and shouldered shots will still not perform well.... As for the rest of it? Who knows?! How much do you want to spend? If you can't afford £275 then by the Torq and if it turns out you don't like it, well, tough! Sell it. Really,  the batsman is far more important than the bat anyway.

Best to go to the shop and pick them up mate, but i will say the mongoose goes like a train.

Used one the other day as a guy in the team had one, went out with it ad hit 60 odd. One of the ugliest looking profiles I have picked up, but once the ball makes contact, it goes! Getting one myself now!
