  • If I only could bat....
Lhlb v SH
« on: July 10, 2012, 08:59:54 PM »

Over the last couple of months I've been interchanging my lhlb bats with my SH bats. On the occasions I have batted with the bigger ones, I realise that I have felt more comfortable and better able to time the ball, and more importantly, that I'm finding the middle more and not getting out as quickly. Now I know that a lot of netting has helped, but I may be at the point where I finally banish SH bats from my kitbag and home forever (aside from the retro ones that I keep for reminiscence sake). Just hope they do an lhlb dynadrive!

Anyone else had a similar experience?

I really wish I'd asked for a long blade on either my Redback or bulldog now after reading the various posts on this. They're both really good bats but im now wondering if a long blade would help my batting. If I'd managed to sell the ss that I've got for sale I'd even thought about using the money to buy one of the long blade kooks off activinstinct.

I am 6'3 and a few years ago i got a LB kooka blade runner....did not work for me at all so went back to a SH kooka biggest kahuna, which was fantastic...now i dont know if it was the LB or the fact that blade runner was a smaller/lighter bat than kahuna but just did not like it...

wouldn't mind trying a lh lb sometime but then i am not sure if thats the right size for me...

I am only 5'10" but a coupe of years ago I tried a long blade GM Purist11. Worst year with the bat I have ever had. Just couldn't time anything

I tried one last year as well, was awful. Couldn't get the timing right at all, and I'm 6'4
