very nice bat, i believe the toe is tapered like that to avoid feathering when tapping the bat down

Full marks for that man! I think the owner is a bit of a heavy 'tapper' at the crease and if I remember rightly Dan said he changed the toe shape to help protect it...it really is a gorgeous bat. I've always preferred the Volante shape myself but seeing this Finback made me want to try one....

Pedals - we will have to butter Jason up to bring it along to Winter nets at Dummer!!
Then we'll help him play it in!  ;)

Good thinking! 3 people using it = bat played in 3 times faster  ;) It's a service really isn't it? I mean, we'd be doing HIM a favour  :D :D

In fact, we can start our own low cost service - Pedals and Hosk's playing in service!
Have your bats played in for £20! (Only quality bats need apply!)  ;)

Would be great to come to Oz, especially as the weather over here is so patchy at the mo!
But would need to charge you airfare on top of the £20 fella  ;)

Seriously though,"Something extremely special"? Do tell!!!  ;)

Patience Pete I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I know I'm excited about it.. Something very different and truly a custom made bat

Pedals/Pete the bats far to light for either of you, its about half the weight of any of the bats your bring along.  But your most welcome to have a go.

Looks like a top stick mate - almost a perfect "Playmate" :).

I would struggle to keep my hands-off it till next season, but guess you have more self-control than the average forum-ite on CBF :)

Love the profile, but no bow in the blade :(  A decent bow in the blade and Heff would have featured this as his next "Playmate" :)
