Have they changed their grills? - Pietersen/Trott's helmets look slightly different (noticeable mainly because of the ear pads).

Different but not like these, we had an ICC letter last week so u will most likely seem some changes in attempts to solve the issues raised....ours won't be changing

ICC are planning on introducing a global safety standard, l'boro Uni have been working on this and asked brands to submit helmets for testing etc....not sure what other brands sent theirs in but we were more than happy to

The ICC pointed out 4 areas of concern that they want addressing as injuries are still occurring even with Helmets that pass the Current BSI standard. Flexing the peak/grille and allowing a ball through was one of them so the modifications are going to try and avoid the grille moving I guess

Any ideas on when testing will be concluded? Do you think the new grill by masuri is a result of this new standard being brought out by the ICC? 

Also will all helmets have to meet the new regs?

No idea on timelines, I'd think that all helmets will have to meet the global standard yes.

This was a follow up letter to the one we had last year prior to us launching the Premier range which raised the same issues
