excellent video / interview. James has shared so much in about 5-7 mins. Some of the knowledge shared is a myth buster - grains vs. playing ability and life, moisture content etc.

I quite liked the cleaned up cleft. The grains were very good.

So 7-9 grains for a bat that will last 2-3 seasons???

Yeah the tighter grain bats play well right away so the pros have lots of these 11-14 grain bats
But if you are not pro basically a less grain bat would be better
Plays alright at the start but plays very well as you hit more balls with it
