Glenn Maxwell vs India A
« on: August 08, 2013, 01:19:14 PM »

I know he is overrated but this sounds like it would have been a very entertaining knock to see..

If only he could do this more regularly.

Its basically the team that beat Zimbabwe and won the Champions Trophy so no mean feat but the guy is awful.

I obviously have slogging issues.

Maxwell, Levi, afridi and pollard are some of my favourite players.

Levi averages nearly 40 in first class cricket, playing on lively pitches. So he's hardly a fool...

Glenn Maxwell's a fantastic young player.

His hand eye coordination is quiet brilliant, almost like a young Sehwag.

He's about 18/24 months away from being Test match ready.

He's already shown he can get big runs, 150 in the First class match vs SA(A) and now 145 against Ind(A) in a 50 overs match.

But was found out at the elite level. Glenn maxwell strikes me as someone who when it's his day will go big. Australia need more Clarke's in their side not more Watson's.

Excluding Maxwell's international caps, he's only played 18 FC matches, 20 List A matches and 40 T20 matches.

So with more experience he'll get better and better.

Levi's coming of an extraordinary domestic season, and it wasn't against 'charity' bowling. Most of his big innings where against international bowlers.

Levi's got plenty to give at the international level.
