Hi,

I am looking for a top end large cricket bag. Could i have some advice from the suppliers on which bags to avoid and which ones have impressed you.

Although not a supplier, I had a Slazenger one from SportsDirect. Got it in the winter sale. Lasted about 2 weeks of the season before the zips broke.  I would definitely stay away from them if you can, in my opinion.

It now holds the Christmas decorations in the loft.

Used a GM Wheelie top of the range (Not realy, wheelie) with the double bat cave. Holds a fair bit of kit, but bat cave tends to catch the edges of the bat if youve got hammer edge or edge tape on.

Also bear in mind size of dressing rooms

I bought a Slazenger V1200 from Paul at IJC today.  It's a hell of a lot bet quality than the stuff you get in SD.  I'll take some picks and do a review on it over the weekend.  Initial thoughts though are that it's an excellent bag, with plenty of compartments including a bat vault for 3 bats.

I have a Willostix Anaconda on eBay which is huge. Excellent quality bat tunnel wet area and 3 external pockets really great bag. Check it out

Nice to see a mention for the Willostix bags - they are immense and, in my opinion, made from the most durable material of any cricket bag on the market.  Need to start stocking them next year...

shout for the newbery tour! massive bag just what i need only down side is it has a poor bat pocket! way it is designed it. the pocket is big enough just for two bats but getting them in is very fiddly, if they made the zip a bit bigger or something it would be even better

I always go AERO on the bag front - lovely, well thought out bags that have a massive amount of space but neatly divided out so that everything fits in perfectly.  Still reckon they could adapt the bat pockets to get a fourth in, but otherwise these are the mutts nuts...

Recommend a stand-up bag if you are restricted for space in a changing room (like I am at many grounds).

I've had a blue/silver Aero Cricket stand-up bag for 3 or 4 years and it comfortably stores all my bats, softs & wicket-keeping kit.
It is very robust & hard wearing. Just make sure the boot of the car is big enough for it!
