in addition to all the good ideas already posted, I had Mr Aldred shape my toe with a (roughly) 30 degree angle. So it's not flat but when I tap up it touches the floor flat.

I think it's called a 'shamford' toe....excuse my ignorance to the name.

It's only a few grams, but 'Every little helps'

I like the idea of flattening the bottom. I'm tempted to do that with my tempo.

The other option is to hit the gym.

that would probably remove an ounce at most, would help though. a few brands do it as it helps to eliminate feathering caused by tapping the bat
