Well set off to Romida today with my heart set on soem boom boom Sig 175 Pads, anyway upon entering the store i thought WOW HEAVEN!!!!
Every pad of every brand on display, Mrs dozed off and for me it was happy days!
Anyway cut a long story short the boom boom pads were ok but in relaity compared to the other top line pads they werent nothing special.
My eye caught soem striking SF pads which instantly made me more and more curious upon closer inspection the build quality of these pads mixed with comfort and styling appeared more and more appealing, even the guy in there kept recommending these pads saying there just as good as top line pads of other makes and whilst handling them they gave off real good vibes.
I left the boom boom pads to one side as even though 2012 model there sizing is still a tad small for normal mens and the straps are still so long! Am not all that sure on how good the 2 strap method is aswell and was purely goign for the brand name i guess.
The SF pads are in another league though the leather the weight the buuld quality the padding is exceptional the only downside i saw was that on the base of the pad where the SF logo is the padding around the angle is a little less dense as compared to my old CA plus 10000 pads but other than that i think there a crackign set of pads and very much similar to the SS pads..
