Softbac
« on: March 09, 2013, 10:49:31 AM »

What is softbac? Is it a product similar to pittard which anyone can use or is it a product name associated to Salix. I've only seen it on Salix gloves

I have always thought that the softbac on salix gloves referred to the inside lining for the back of your hand which is nice and soft and comfy? Didn't think it referred to the palms? I don't know for a fact though?

Yeah. That's what I thought. My opening post probably wasn't clear. I ment is it a product linked directly to Salix or like pittards can anyone use it. I didn't mean to suggest pittard and softbac were the same.

It's the backing of the glove thats in contact with the rear of your hand, the majority of gloves (any that are half decent) will have it but most just choose not to highlight it as its not really a UsP
