Whats in your "little black bag"
« on: March 05, 2013, 01:37:37 AM »

A few keepers i know have always had a little black bag full of stuff that they might need and i often find that people assume that as i'm a keeper i would automatically have tape, scissors etc that they can use/borrow.
I must admit ive also thought at times if only i had a plaster or a bit of tape. So i'm going to get my self organised and put one together (as im also skipper this year i thought i might also keep things like spare bails and teamcards in it etc)

So what i wanted to know is being the organised/practical and kit obsessed soles us keepers normally are whats in your bag of tricks, what should i be putting in mine and anyone recommend a decent little bag to keep it all in (i was thinking of using a boot bag?).

Not so much a little black bag but a plastic box
Contains things like: Glue, tape, rubber facing, studs, scissors, plasters, helmet visor bolts, spare finger stalls for keeping and batting gloves and anything else that I find rolling about my bag.

Sods law though there is always someone who can ask for something I haven't got :)

Not a keeper, but I do have a little black bag full of bits and bobs.  Edge tape, grip/electrical tape, scissors, oil, bits of cut up grip, contact adhesive/general purpose glue, spare studs, helmet screw thingies, spare contact lenses, plaster strip to name but a few.

That describes the side pocket of my bag...

There's always someone that thinks they are 'hard core' that needs an aspirin or two...  ;)

Always keep spare grips, electrical tape, contact adhesive and 2 different rolls of tape (usually paper based tape and elasotplast) to protect my knuckles before I put on my gloves.

Oh and 6 small stones incase I have to umpire!
