Wicket Keeping Pads Sizing
« on: January 16, 2013, 07:56:10 PM »

I know this may sound very unusual but I am quite a tall wicket keeper and am looking for possibly oversized or larger than average wicket keeping pads.
I take OSM G&M Original LE Batting Pads which are a perfect fit and was wondering if anyone knows pads that come up quite large?
Also I am interested in the Newbery SPS keeping pads, any idea what size they are?
I will measure my requirements now
Thanks

Most pads are getting smaller nowadays unfortunately.

As a relatively tall (for a keeper anyway) bloke I have experienced this problem myself.

The kookaburra pads are available in large men's http://vitascricket.co.uk/products.php?id=772

I have some Blenheim Cricket keeping pads that have only been used a few times for sale if you want them? I can put up pics/measurements if you're interested. I have worn mens size pads in the past but these feel too long for me, so might do a job for you? They are very classy pads. Let me know

I am facing the same problem with my WK pads. Specially while keeping up to the stumps for a fast bowler, odd bounce hits my knee as the pad are not tall enough to cover my knee. Any suggestions ?

Large men's, but even these aren't noticeably bigger in most brands. The kookaburra ones do seems a touch bigger though.

If anyone is still out there in need of big keeping pads i've still got to shift the Blenheims I bought last season. Only used a handful of times so very nearly new - just too big for me.
cheers.
