Klinger did okay for the Pears.
Rob Nicol should not be allowed anywhere near the county again...
Williamson looks brilliant getting to 20.

Weren't Klinger and Harris (the other redbacks opener) pretty prolific in the one day stuff in aus?

Klinger has been a very good Shield player since his move to Adelaide. There was talk of him replacing Langer or Hayden when they retired. He would have been the first Jewish player to represent Australia.

Joe Burns signs for Leicestershire for 4 months and the now retired Samaraweera for Worcestershire. I Didn't realise how good his test stats were, bit of a legend really!!

Re: Thilan - especially after being shot on the bus in Pak after scoring two consecutive 200s!

He was much stronger on the Subcontinent, but they're still very good stats. I suppose he was in the shade of Kumar and Jayawardene for most of his career.

his form didn't really travel as well as the other great Sirils, largely because his footwork, especiall y in the early part of his career, was more or less non existant.

Joe is a decent bat and will score a few I bet for Leicestershire. Our club had the chance to sign Joe last season, but would only be available for 10 - 13 games, so our chairman thought it would not be a good idea  >:(
