yeah i suppose so they get all their bats with the same specs,

if you are scoring runs with a bat don't you want to try and prolong it?

constant tapping on the crease may change the shape of the toe as well

How many times do pros bat on damp wickets?

T20s when it's raining but they decide "Its only a T20, get the game in"

dont use a toe guard ! if you damage the toe of the bat you cant see it. then the damage becomes terminal when it could of been saved if you didnt have it, if you are a tapper tap the bat on the back of your foot not the ground
