Thanks Tush. It is my first attempt, and finished off with 1200 grit, then buffed and polished.

Good job Tim. I think the profile looks a cross between the V12 and the profile of the Laver in this link below

Hadn't realised how similar it was Number4! But you are correct, although I suspect there is a lot more concaving in the Laver.

nice looking bat - liking that V12 swell you've got going on. I'm not the biggest fan of the duck bill toe but that's just me. I know a lot of people like it and it gives the middle a good look in comparison

Took the "Pendle" to nets yesterday for the first use against proper balls and real bowlers. I was very impressed. It does at least feel like it has a long middle (which is what I was after). Fired a full toss back past the bowlers head with a lovely sharp crack off the bat. no trouble with yorkers on the toe, and best of all, no vibrations.

The pressing is superb, but the, that's down to Matt at H4L and nothing to do with me.

If anything, I think the handle is a little short as I found myself with my top hand having a quarter hanging off the top of the bat, which is a pity.

Certainly caused plenty of mirth when I was explaining to people that I'd made the bat. They were certainly surprised!
