Start of season club day
« on: April 06, 2013, 11:45:50 AM »

Today my club had a day today devoted to re-painting the fences, cleaning the astro pitch with a power washer, putting up new netting  into the nets , and assembling new roll out nets. All followed by a BBQ and a little slog challenge. So any other clubs to things like this? if so what goes on in the day?

Had ours today, painted sight screens, cleaned benches, flowerpots and changing rooms, sorted sight screens for 3rds home games, ate a load of burgers and hot dogs, got free shirts from Natwest and posed for some pictures then put the nets up. Followed by a nice long net session for those of us who were keen.
Have to say there is a skill to painting lines on a wicket, and I don't have this skill...  :D

Could not help out today but will be heading down to my club in the morning to lend a hand
