GM are always the last to confirm anything. They keep things very closely guarded and even asked some websites to take down leaked images last year.

I've seen evidence of a Purist and a Maestro, but no word on whether they will be in the UK market.

I live in Sydney and was in our leading cricket shop and saw the Purist 808 and the new ICON Original LE Shane Watson Players edition. The Purist seemed really good with a better pick-up than either the Argon or the Octane F2 (both there as well) in my opinion - I also liked the shape in the flesh more that I thought I would from some pics I saw on another thread here. One thing that was completely different was the grip it seemed thicker with very different patterning I liked it a lot and it seemed to make the handle feel thicker which I think is a plus vs some of the other new GMs which recently have had thinner handles. The new Watson ICON is a simply beautiful bat - it does not have the standard ICON shape, it has a completely convex or domed back but it does have a mid-high middle I think, very big edges without being flat-faced I'm pretty sure from memory (there were some ICON F2 in the shop as well so I'll need to check but am fairly positive it had a traditional face). You could buy the bats in the shop but these 2 were not displayed online when I checked. I really like GM equipment and have been quite impressed with how innovative they have been over the last couple of seasons, however, I don't understand why they dumped the Halo it was a great bat and kept other models which seem too similar - the EPIC/ICON too similar and the ARGON F2/OCTANE F2 again too similar.
