Thigh pads staying put
« on: April 22, 2013, 11:05:19 AM »

Hi I hope I am not the only one that struggles to get thigh pads to stay put and not slip down.

What is the best way to prevent this, is it just a case of strapping them really tight to the thigh?

On Sat after running two 3s I needed reorganising, which is a pain.

I found the opposite, mine were moving up a bit too far and jabbing me...think they might be too big...

It was a proverbial problem until I got some Aero P2s. Wouldn't wear anything else now.

I went from aero p2's to shamrock over the winter. Whilst the outer guard was great I've struggled to get the inner guard to stay in place - always ended up slipping down in nets.

I'll still use the shamrock as they're really well made but I've just got some newer p2's to use.

ensure they are shaped correctly, they are the right size and the are done up tightly.

shouldn't be too hard to get them to fit

I've had 2 matches with my P2's now, couldn't imagine wearing anything else now.  Incredible bit of kit, very clever.
