as a goal keeper and a wicket keeper i am just gifted with the amazing talent of being able to catch

i think i take the ball with my fingers pointing down to the ground and a cushion the ball into the gloves i think

haha, I goal keep for a living so i guess i'm okay at catching the football, the cricket ball is just a whole level different

Haha, fair enough!
No one currently as I'm moving back to Slough from Bournemouth but got a few trials here and there at a few semi pro teams, used to play for Some youth academies in Berkshire, just had trials in France like over last summer, been playing some saturday league stuff for westover Bournemouth as I haven't got the time when i'm at uni, but gonna give the whole professional football attempt another chance and see where I end up!

Maybe try thinking about your arms being 'soft' and giving with the ball with your hands being strong but not hard. Could be a different way of thinking. Hope that made sense!
