Tiger Tigris bat?
« on: June 20, 2013, 05:45:12 PM »

Any of you guys seen/owned/tried one of these before?
Looking for a bat for my son (size 5) and the same seller is knocking out adult and junior versions of this.
Googled and emailed the Tiger website to verify the listings and they say they're the real thing.
Thinking of getting the laddo one and another for me as a back-up bat.
Any info much appreciated.

Yeah, they could be decent but that website doesn't instil any confidence in me at all.....personally I'd steer well clear. I'm fairly local to where they are based and I can safely say I have never, ever seen any of their equipment before. They could be good but I definitely wouldn't buy anything unseen from them.

That ebay listing is appalling. the RRP seems to be £125 not over £200 as he states and if that goes for more than £60 I'll be surprised!   :D

His username certainly doesn't instil confidence either!

Yeah! I saw that.....!  :D

Personally mate, unless you're going to actually go and pick the gear yourself at a shop I wouldn't do it. Have a talk to some of the batmakers on here and see what they can do for you. They can probably do you a great deal on a second bat for you and a size 5 for your boy. It will probably be better quality and cheaper overall too.....you're also guaranteed great customer service as well...

That sounds like a plan. Cheers. Just saw that their last junior bat went for 20 quid and got bargain blindness!

Someone I know used to run the brand - not sure if he still does. Pakistani stickered imports I think.

Most of the softs wore really well, the bats were a mixed bag I think, some had your average Pakistani handle. There are a few in use around here.

I would say £40 and under for a Junior bat would be ok - wouldn't pay much more.
