No not offended mate, just didn't understand why it was relevant? I'm sure there are some level 3 coaches on here, and if they're any good then I'm sure they don't mind being disagreed with as that for me is what coaching is all about.

Oh mate, you would not believe how much I have tried to volunteer to enhance my CV. I'm not wishing to sound like I'm whinging too much, but when you can't even get work experience (i.e. volunteer for the board) then what chance is there? Trust me, if I could I would be volunteering for Somerset 5 evenings a week!

Rant over!

No worries, I'm sure its fustratining,

Do you do a lot of coaching at local clubs and/or schools - might be that you could get in that way. What are the other boards like around your area - Dorset/Devon, maybe send a note to them, see if they can help?

Dorset have been very good, but unfortunately with me moving house, its now miles away from me, and not really worth it for the experience. I've done loads of coaching in schools, clubs etc. but it doesn't seem to help at all. Moving to Taunton will probably help I reckon.

I hope so, it's a shame.
