Dropping my back shoulder when batting.
« on: June 25, 2013, 08:36:38 AM »

Had some video taken of me batting the other day (first time ever). And the Coach said my back shoulder was dropping especially to balls that were middle to leg stump full, good length mainly.
Any ideas on how to correct this issue?

Cheers

Feel free to pm me the video and I'll have a look, but its dangerous asking for help on here. Every-one has their own opinions (all with their relative merits), and you can end up doing 7 or 8 different things to try and fix technique. Have a look through all the coaching topics, and ask some-one who answers questions in the best way for you to understand, then pm them an I'm sure they will be more than happy to help!

Sorry was taken on an iPhone then quickly deleted. I was hoping there maybe someone who was in the same boat or had the same problem. No issues I am happy to listen to any advice.

Ok well good luck to you mate, I would imagine it has something to do with pushing at the ball/going too hard at it/not getting your head over the ball, but would be uncomfortable saying without having a look properly.
