Topic: 2 Ihsans, 2 fifties & 2 cracked shoulders (Read 2007 times)

We had 2 batsmen score fifty plus this Saturday both were playing with Ihsan X1s both bats have cracked shoulders (inside edge for a RHB)

Bat 1 belongs to a RHB

Bat 2 belongs to a LHB

These are the match bats for 2 of our top batsmen.
Would it be possible to get them repaired by the end of this week?

Look pretty goosed to me. In the spirit of Soccer AM, our of curiosity "show us the whole thing"

U wont loose anything triying to repair it, open both cracks, apply wood glue (u can mix it with water so it goes deeper into the crack) and clamp...

After that you can use bat tape or twine... maybe u can dowell it too.

After a closer look, bat number 2 may need a professional work.. maybe it will need a rehandle and some more work, but the number 1 i think u can do it...

I think the last bat needs to be re-handled. Other than that, by reworking on the first bat you might feel it a little top heavy, but the bats are reusable.

thats exactly what happened to my ricochet and kooka said its irrepperable in the long term but can be quick fixed for a small about of extra life
