They should play to win and back themselves! If they loose they have another chance in Australia soon enough =P

Eng should bat as long as they can this morning (and hopefully long into the afternoon) get as close as we can to the Aus score, bowl Australia out for about 70 the knock the runs off. sorted.

the important thing is to ensure there isnt enough time left in the game for Australia to bowl us out a second time.

oh and a draw is worth a win here as it means we can retain the urn.

I suspect that the weather will win after looking at the forecast - especially on Monday!
But if the weather wasn't likely to spoil any chance of a result, then I'd say just bat as long as possible and see where you stand between innings!
Australia are favourites but a draw would be enough to retain the Ashes for England.

I am sorry to say that Day 5 looks like it could be a wash out!

draw obviously!  :D

I think Austrail have a decent chance if the weather stays ok, pitch looks like it might start to go, if they can get 3 poles in the first session, game on.

Yeah, definitely the best batsman so far this Ashes, although Clarke isn't far behind! It's nice to watch him when he's in form, let's hope he keeps it up. I've not seen many batsmen look that good when batting!

Really, Bells miles in front in my book, Clarkes had one score on a flat track, with a decent ish base laid out for him...

Not sure that anyone will have a say in it!
The forecast looks rubbish, although they could get it wrong!
