Yeah I know, which is a little frustrating! It is probably three years since I bought a bat 'blind' and that was only my second ever bat, gray nicolls evo carbo. Ever since I have managed to either see oictures or even pick up the bat before I've paid for it. Suppose that's a little bit spoilt! Do I take the risk of a 4000, hmmmm...

i got a 4000 that was made in england and it goes like a gun but the splice is coming loose

Guy at our club seems to get on alright with his 4000...

what are pro direct like at sending a specified weight? At very least buying blind Id wanted to know a weight

Should say 'Made in England' on them if they're RP made. He made all the 5/6000s that were UK made I think.

Thanks for that. Mine are both made in England so glad to hear they're crafted by someone well know for his bat making.

Although the proof is in how they play. I'm not normally star struck by bat makers but I guess it increases the chances of getting a gooden

Mines just come .. and its made in england. Is very concaved though

Cheers mate.. feels like a toothpick in my hands .. scales say around 2.8 but feels far lighter

Which weight option did you pick? Looks really good, big concaving on it like mentioned

Used this for the first time on the bowling machine tonight.. boy is the middle good.. with the concaving the odd shot out of the middle isnt great.. but the middle is very long ..
