custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=25344.0

Sorry for not responding to your email Aidan, I forgot. The details on the Maverick range can be found in this topic.

Bats will be available October/November based on previous seasons lead times.

Are these x181 bats actually made in Australia or at gn in uk, I imported a x181 1200sr from Australia when they were first released in Australia and mines a totally different shape and has less concaving too. I'd love another one tho as I've just started using mine and I am very impressed!!! I wouldn't want to pay the customs charges again tho!!

Unlikely to be Australian made. Indian made or (more likely due to how quickly they have become available) made at Robertsbridge would be my guess.

Ah thanks vitas cricket !! Mine is stamped "made in Australia" on the edge next to top stickers. Mine also weighs 2lb 10oz so that may explain why mine appears thicker and less concaved? Do u have any 2lb 10oz ? And how much are they ?

We do not have any in stock. We ordered this in specially for Chris.

I am doing stock take and going over how much we sold this summer to work out how big we can go with our 2014 stock orders, so I'll use any X181's we decide to order in to help boost the order size (and discount :) )

Happy to order in an X181 or Kaboom for anyone that wants one, should be able t get the weight you desire too.

The X181 is only available in one range, labelled as 750i and priced the same as a Players, £240 from us.

The DW Signature Kaboom is the same price as an LE, which is £310 from us.

Happy to knock in any Australian bats ordered in the coming weeks for free.

Used this yesterday in an all day game I played in. I started quite tentative as facing the new ball but it just pinged very very well and is a lovely bat, incredibly powerful bat with a huge middle, I really think it benefits from a full spine running all the way down to the toe.

Thanks again Jake @ vitas for getting me a real gun bat.
