Old bats
« on: August 30, 2013, 02:10:31 PM »

Does anyone know where I can give in my old bats for money or to give my old bats in for a discount off new bats?
I was thinking like a website or shop but I don't know any?
Any replies are much appreciated ben

Rematch Sports were doing something along these lines.

I doubt you will get much money for them from a retailer, as they will need to move the bats on at a profit to make it worth their while.

We are the business of selling bats, not buying them unfortunately.

Your best bet to raise funds from an old bat, is to sell it yourself, either on ebay or on the forum once you have enough posts.

That's the rematch offer.

You need quite a few posts now to sell here, i don't know the exact amount if i'm honest, 300 rings a bell.

more than 150 and it helps if you are at least over 16.

the sales section of the forum is now pretty heavily overseen with all sales needing pre-approval. My suggestion is that in your case you use eBay.

Sorry if this seems significantly overbearing, however the reality is that we have had real issues with miss-selling, theft and other not fun things hence we are in the position we have found ourselves.

This forum is about cricket chat, equipment chat and most of all about custom bats
The huge membership of the forum has attracted some sponsors who, fortuitously find in the goodness of their hearts to offer members some magnificent deals. For that we all count ourselves very lucky!!
