New Balance will be available from November.  I have seen samples of all their range and was very impressed.  I really think they will be a strong contender to ASICS next year.  More will be revealed after the Lord's trade show I'm sure...

I really liked the look of the deep green shoe Steyn wore about 18 months ago, the newer style Trott wears i am less keen on.

It will take something very special from NB or possibly a huge advancement from Asics with the Gel Advance 5 to get me to part with my Nikes.

The orange just makes me think it's trying to copy/follow Nike ones

Saw someone in the know about such things who said the NB's are as good as anything he's seen.

To be honest, having seen samples of these in the flesh, I can assure you guys that they are much less orange than the Nikes! It's just that one shoe in this colour as well.  I think the bowling boots are more of a green colour.

If they are as comfy as New Balance running shoes then my god they will be good.

I can't give the exact costs, as I don't have them to hand.  But I was told them when the NB rep visited last, and I remember him telling me that they won't be as expensive as some, but they are not exactly entry level prices either.  I will know more after the Lord's show and can update the thread then.  As we've stocked the NB bats and softs this year, we, along with a few others, have been offered first dibs on the shoes, which was a nice gesture!  :)

The new balance cricket shoes for next season look very nice, all seem very well made and incorporate the same technologies used in the running shoes so i've been told.  Looking forward to seeing how well they sell!

New Balances heritage as a shoe maker is fantastic. Great running shoes, and their baseball cleats are so good that some pros get blacked out versions instead of wearing shoes made by their sponsors. I reckon these will be the nuts
