I'm only 16 and I'm the VC of my club 2nd XI. Captained the side twice and won twice and they were are only 2 wins till yesterday
So we have won like 3 out of 10.
I was due to take over the captaincy for the rest of the remaining 6 games this weekend as the skipper is playing football but I am doing the same, so I told the skipper who should captain the side for the rest of the season. The new one is only 17 years old himself.
Being captain is alot of hard work both on and off the field. It requires picking a team, telling them, arranging matches, sandwiches, drivers and a whole lot more. If you are serious and would like to captain the side, just say to a committee member before a meeting and ask them to bring it up. Or even write a short letter to them.
