My refurbished Adi-tek lid
« on: October 04, 2013, 10:23:39 PM »

Sorry about the poor pics, the lid looks amazing in flesh - I really like the Adidas labels on this. (They were a nice surprise) It will still always be an Ayrtek to me though! This was actually an older model of the Ayrtek Elites (My spare), and is actually a fair bit lighter than my RAW. The only issue I had with it was that the grill was too close to my chin, but I like this look so much that I've taken the grill off my RAW, and I think this will be my lid from now on. :D Interesting thing is that the liner isn't actually glued onto the shell anymore, but there are actually velcro straps glued on the shell. This makes it much easier to replace the liner, which I'm guessing some pros may want to do! Great news for us sweaty batters. ;)

Tom was great to deal with, I initially thought the price for a refurb was pretty steep, but upon inspection, there is a lot of work involved! Thanks again! :)
