Advise/Help needed- Bat Crack

Sold this brand New Bat - advised bat is not factory knocked etc- 2 coats of oil and 5 hours knocking by mallet. Buyer didn't oil and then used it against hanging ball in a sock to knock it in. Looking at damage and deep seam marks I am guessing it must be a new (newish) ball? what do y'all think....




Need some advice.  :)

Sand, oil, leave a week, scuff & knock. Should save it.
And tell whoever did it that they're a ****  ;)
