Matrix grips
« on: December 09, 2013, 07:38:59 PM »

Anyone know where I can get hold of some black matrix grips? Not the GM style ones. They don't seem to have a very pronounced 'grip'.
Last year I got hold of a few that were really 'ribbed' (for want of a better term!) but I can track down where I got them from.
Any ideas?

Are you meaning chevrons?

Minimal ridges?

The ones I've got are like thin rows of 'Cherons' with really deep ridges in between.
They feel really nice but tend to split in the deep ridges.

Do you mean the Kook players grips?

I have them in pink, not sure they make them in black but i can check. We visit Kook all the time so I'll ask next time i'm there.

ps, that isn't a great picture, the ridges you talk of are much deeper than the picture suggests.

Yes they look like the thing I'm after. If you can get some black ones then I would like to get some. How much are you looking at?

We sell grips at £4 each. There is scope for discounts on bulk orders. We offer free delivery on everything.

The grips are only available in white, pink, sky blue, green or orange though.

That is a Kook players grip in pink on my middling bat.

Doesn't appear that any other manufacturers i deal with offer this style of grip currently. Other than GM, but I am not sure if they are deep ridged, they don't do one in black either.

Getpaddedup have some, not black, but other colours. Not sure if they are GMs or not.

I think getpaddedup may have been where the original black ones came from. Will try contacting them to see if I can get some black ones.
