Evening All,

Got a question as stated in the title.

Forum members:- You have £200 to spend on a new bat. What would you expect for that price?

Sponsors:- what could you offer/recommend us? Or make us etc...

For £200 I would want a nice G1 that's shaped the way I want it! £200 is a lot of money to me...I know you can pay £400 for a G1 but I'd want G1 for that price

  • Straight up.

I'd get a Warsop G1 Platinum at £180, possibly shaped like Graham Napier (for something different and new), and spend the remaining £20 on alcohol.

For £200 I could make a custom g1 bat to the buyers specs. Choice of cleft from a selection of suitable clefts, handle shape, middle height, the works.

I would want a good looking and performing g1 bat when you consider some smaller brands offer custom mades for a lot less

A B&S Scorch.

Anything handpicked from the mid ranges of GN, Kook and TON.

GM 808 would get you a Great bat and enough money left over for a coaching session in our net.

I could have a handmade G1 made to your shape for £165, by Hunts. I'll handpick the cleft for you too.

This. This is why Hunts are GReat! Get yourself a 90's Insignia or Reflex!

if they still had the stickers that would be well cool - had a really nice Reflex about twenty years ago, totally flew!

Just been given a retro Hunts in very good condition. Sill have to get some pics up.

For £200, I'd expect top performance and decent looks. Either in a reasonably high range off-the-shelf or something custom made.

Probably look at a TK made bat from BB or Python or the £165 hunts made bat from vitas.
